Neil Gaiman To Pen Upcoming ‘Doctor Who’ Episode That Marks Return Of The Cybermen
This Spring, the Cybermen will return to Doctor Who. After a long dry spell of no Cybermen, Neil Gaiman is writing the episode that will bring them back. Neil Gaiman won a Hugo award for the episode, The Doctor's Wife. One of the directors from the Harry Potter franchise will be directing the episode, and many famous British actors will star in the episode as well.
This is very important to all Whovians (Doctor Who fans). Like I said before, we haven't had a good Cyberman episode for a while. We haven't had a good Cyberman episode since the Tenth Doctor, we are currently on the Eleventh Doctor. We've been forced to watch poorly developed villains for nearly two years now, except for the Weeping Angels and The Silence. We are in dire need of a good old fashioned Dalek or Cyberman uprising.
As a Whovian and a consumer, this is a very critical in getting our views. For us, we hate the bad episodes, such as the recent western episode. I want to see more Cybermen and Daleks again. They are what helped me come to love the series and what made Doctor Who the most well-known British show to date. With the increase in appearances of these villains, maybe we could boost the views in America once more.
All I can think about right now is why we haven't gotten a preview of the season yet? Will the Cybermen have new suits? Will the Doctor be able to foil their evil plans once more?
